I was wondering what the difference is between "belief" and "faith" and searched on the Internet. I found a long article devoted to this matter, entitled "Belief, Faith, and Knowing". In brief, the author says that belief is what our mind thinks is true, while faith is inner affirmation of what our mind thinks is true and our heart wants to be true. Belief is like one's opinion; everyone can have their own belief and thus the truth of beliefs is relative. On the other hand, faith is nothing to do with relative truths but with the absolute truths, the truths that exist all time. Since faith is believing something invisible, supported by no tangible proof, it can be easily faded away from people's mind.
As for knowing, to know something means to experience something. The one who experienced perceives it so deeply within himself as true that he does not have to discuss it, and others' opinions do not matter. In order to create your future the way you want, you must keep faith until you KNOW the thing you have faith in is true.
